Abby is a beautiful petite and slender girl, who had always dreamt of having a perfect life with her family. She is 19 years and is currently working in a cafe shop trying to earn for a living.
(Abby's POV)
Ruby my brown cat kept meowing on my face, rubbing her paws on my face I'm feeling really sleepy, I shoved her to the side of my bed. Ruby came again this time licking my ears.I lazily open my heavy eyelids and yawned.
"Ruby, What it is?" i asked in a sleepy voice.
"Meow"
" I am feeling so sleepy, please I'll rub your fur later" i muttered as Ruby continue to meow, she didn't stop instead she made it louder
"What? hun,Ruby" I said. My eyes went to my little curtain, I quickly sat up and franctically ran the the curtain then drew it to the side. It's MORNING!!
"It's MORNING!!" I switched on my phone, it was even worse "it's 7:20am" I screamed at the top of my lungs. I gave Ruby a quick pat and ran into my bathroom, i showered as fast as I could, brushing really fast. i was done within 15 minutes. i quickly wore my underwear. i was only on singlets and panties when i opened my wardrobe to choose any clothe since all my clothes are literally casuals.
*Knock*Knock*
"Who's there"
"Ariel duuh, Abby open up, you are already late for work"Ariel said
Ariel is my little sister, she's 16 years. She came in.
"And whg are you not in school?" i asked putting on my blue jean.
"Well, I'm owing, remember? our principal said i can't go into the school premises without paying up my fees"Ariel face dropped.
I sighed painfully, my eyes were a bit moist with tears, i quickly wore my top and held my jacket, grabbing my bag.
"I promise to get the money Ariel, alright?" i pecked her hair and she nodded.
"Won't you eat breakfast??"
"Naah , I'm late for work, catch you later " i quickly ran out
The cafe opens as early as 6:50am and I'm expected to be there by 7am sharp, and presently the time is 8:03am, i was exhausted yesterday due to overstressing hours of work at the cafe. I got to down from the bus, i need money. I need to pay for Ariel school fees, my house rent is due and mom is quite sick and needs some particular drugs I couldn't help the tears that threatened to rush out of my eyes. I was so lost in thought that i mistakenly bump into s is someone. A nice fragrance hit my nose, it was a bit musky but smells really good. My face hit something hard, i couldn't tell what i hit but i fell down due to the hard force. I opened my eyes only to see an extremely cute man, no an extremely cute guy,i wasn't sure, he had a beautiful pair of dreamy blue eyes. He quickly picked up his shades and wore it, before i could apologize for my lack of concentration he had already left, i picked up my bag and quickly walk into the cafe shop. Wierd!!
"Good morning Ma'am" I greeted Mrs.Georgia. A fat woman who is the owner of the cafe shop, she is strictly and always yells. She has 6 sons, most of them aren't really responsible which gets her annoyed and makes her nag at every of her worker. I am a victim and I'm still going to be one right now.
"And what days the time?" Mrs.Georgia said ignoring my greetings.
"Well, it's.... 8:06am" i stammered a bit. she intimidated me, a lot.
"Works starts by 7 and you are an hour late" she looked at me intently then harshly pull my arm with her fat fingers, i winced in pain.
"Your last chance young lady, if you come late one more time, you are FIRED" she said sternly before releasing my arm. I held my hand and headed back to the counter.
( 9:00pm)
"I'm done for the day ma" i said pulling off my apron.
"You came late and you want to go early, you stupid girl"Mrs.Georgia growled wickedly. "You are not going until 10"
"No I can't stay until 10, i have to be home before that time" i said.
"Young lady, you leave and your job ends here today " She said and walked away
I frowned and shut my eyes cursing herm She finds joy in making me sad.
Many nasty men came in to get vodka. I had to take their orders.
10:55pm
i got home, No one was awake. i got in and went to shower then wore my pajamas. I can't deal with Mrs.Georgia's ranting and threatening to sack me anymore, what next will she tell me Hun, go home by 1 in the midnight. I hissed then browse on online jobs to do. I fell asleep and slept off. Exhausted is an understatement of what I'm feeling right now.

My phone buzz. The ringtone woke me up as i sat up not even looking at the caller ID i picked it up.
"Good morning silly" It was a guy voice.
i smiled upon hearing his voice.
"Neon, Good morning"
"You still in bed,Abby, don't you have a place to go??" Neon asked
"Right!, I'll go hit the shower, How are you?"
"Well, I'm good, i did not see you yesterday, i came around "Neon said
"Yeah, my cranky boss made me stay and work until 10 Pm" I said now fully awake.
"Serious? you really need to get a new job , that woman has gone beyond her limits as a boss" he said
"Tell me about it, she has gone bonkers " i roll my eyes
"Sorry about that though, Ariel did not attend school yesterday, i met her at home "
"(i sighed), it's the same story, can't pay for her fees for now but i know i will, by God's grace " i hoped
" Alright, see you later, I'll be coming to visit tomorrow "
"No problem, I'll be expecting you ",
He asked of the fee amount and i told him.
i went to hit the shower. I wore my casuals and switched on my phone only to see an alert. I called Neon and thanked him countlessly.
I quickly sent it to her school account.
Neon is my childhood friend right from middle school, he was always there for me when I n
eed him his family is quite successful.
